Recently I was in my local gun store looking to purchase a "tactical" shotgun. This shotgun would never be used for hunting, only for defense. I was shown the Mossberg, not sure on the model, but it was completely black and did not have any stock, just a grip with a thumb safety on top. It held the standard 5 shells and was a 12 gauge. I have heard of Mossberg before but never shot any of their shotguns. Can anyone shed some light on the quality of Mossberg shotguns, reliablity, and any other relevent information. It is greatly appreciated, thanks.
