NRA Hi-Power questions
Does anyone know where I can find out how many NRA and CMP hi-power shooters are registered, and in what classifications? In other words, how many high masters, how many masters, etc.
It would be nice to also know how many new classifications are handed out in an average month, and how many of these shooters are still active (shooting at least once per year) as opposed to people who have reached a classification level and then quit. |

I don't know if you will find your answer there, but all the world class HP shooters hang out at www.nationalmatch.us

Call the NRA High Power Division 703-267-1479.
The CMP doesn't have classifications like High Masters etc., just distinguished and non-distinguished. |

+1 on Ken's advice.
And here's a website where you can review the Distinguished awards by the CMP for their various programs, by year, badge and service class - http://clubs.odcmp.com/cgi-bin/repor...IV&alphaStart= you can also download this data as an excel spreadsheet. If you're going to do some research on the questions you're asking, please post your findings - I'd be interested to know. |
