Talk about thin!

I'm trying to find any info whatsoever on a .22 caliber pocket autoloader made around 1989, with the designation "J 22". That is all the info I have on it. I'm trying to research this for a friend.

Any help would be appreciated.

Kirk

Update: I have discovered that it is a Jennings/Bryco J22: .22LR Caliber. Small & inexpensive, 6+1 Rounds.

IF it works, and AS LONG AS it works, it is OK as a plinker. But don't depend on it. And don't waste money trying to get it fixed if it doesn't work.

Your right about the make and model. Here is a link with a description of the pistol. It's currently up on auction at this link. It has several good pictures of it, and good detail.

Well, $91.00 sure is cheap, but I would not waste my money on one of these. Save your money for a quality .22, like the Ruger Mark II or Browning Buckmark series. I have bought only one cheap gun, an Auto Ordnance 1911, last cheap gun I will ever own! You get what you pay for.

I'm not recommending this gun in any way, I've never even heard of it before today. I was just forwarding the info so Kirk could help his friend.

FWIW, $91 is NOT cheap for that piece of junk, it's about $90 overpriced!

You've told me what I needed to know. My friend is upgrading to a Kahr K9.
