Speer data needed
Would someone please help me with some data from the most recent Speer load manual? I have some 150 Mag Tips in which I will be loading for a 308 Win. This is one of the few manuals I have yet to purchase. I have most of the powders that are commonly found so I need some min./max info. Varget, RE-15,4064,H4895,8208,Benchmark,322. Any of these would be great.

Thanks, I got these on sale or I probably would not have bought them given all the other more well known bullets out there. I've had real good luck 165 NBT's and my target loads using 178 amax pills. 42.5 grains of RE-15 stacks them up. My rifle is a Remington SPS Tactical which makes for a great hunting rifle. Not much heavier than most peoples hunting rifles. Anyway I got to rambling on there but thanks for the data. Others feel free to chime in with more info or just what works best in your rifle. Target or hunting.

I've got one load in the .308 that seems to shine in every rifle we've tried it. I use 43.0 grains of RL15, anybody's 168 grain bullet and a Winchester LR primer. We've got several .308's in the family, from a heavy-barreled tactical rifle to a single-shot Handi rifle, with several bolt-actions in between. (When I say anybody's 168 grain bullet, we've tried several in the load. Hornady match, Sierra Matchking, 165 Gamekings, 168 Interlocks, you name it, we've tried it. Even one horrible bulk bullet of unknown origin.... I had to weigh and sort those.) As long as the bullets are relatively uniform, that load shoots just fine for our purposes, which I define as MOA or better in ever rifle we've tried it.

Really like Varget, from 45-46.5 grains.
