I wrote a piece for Pax about my Polite Society experience. I also have done a couple of pieces for the NTI folks - mentioned in my Sig below. I also did an experiment on attitudes on assault weapons and juries that was published in a psych journal and then picked up by a law e-journal - The Jury Expert.

That was fun work.

In my academic role - I've written tons of stuff about vision and neurons, intro psych and statistics. Not guns though.

Buy Pax's book and Larry's Monster Hunter. Monster Hunter is great because it shows modern firearm use vs. monsters. Usually, people are so damn helpless in these books.

Mike Cumpston (who writes for Guns and AH and who's written a couple of excellent books on front-stuffers) is here from time to time, I believe.

I may consider it as a future career. My English professor my freshman year seemed to think I was a good enough writer to submit a few of my papers for "Outstanding Freshman Writing"... although I'm not sure how nuts she'd be to hear I was applying my apparent talent in such a manner, she's pretty much your stereotypical college English professor .

There's pretty much nothing I'd rather write about than guns though so if I do have any writing ability and if I do ever decide to put it to some use that would be it.

Yeah, I'm a member here, but I have apparently succeeded in eliminating all vestiges of leisure time. I'm trying to bludgeon myself into finishing a new book, THE NEW SURVIVAL GUNS — GUNS, GEAR & TRAINING FOR UNCERTAIN TIMES, which I hope to have available by 1 June. It'll be my 22nd book, assuming it doesn't kill me. I've got 3 new television series in the works, in addition to SHOOTING GALLERY, COWBOYS, THE BEST DEFENSE and TBD/SURVIVAL, plus the weekly Internet news video blog and DOWN RANGE Radio, the weekly podcast.

f I can't pull off an Africa hunting trip this September I'm going to HOLD MY BREATH UNTIL I TURN BLUE...well, maybe not...

I'd love to be a gun writer, I have a diploma majoring in journalism and minoring in radio production.

I'm also fairly good at writing (could be better)

I'm also a student at the moment, halfway through a masters degree, anyone looking to hire a writer / photographer?
