I forgot the name of a product that has a weighted string you feed through the barrel and then pull out the muzzle. It has some fabric in front where CLP is applied, followed by a brush followed by more fabric to wipe the rifling clean in one stroke.
Has anyone used this and what are your observations concerning cleaning ability, durability, etc.? |

I love those things for Shotguns.... but I have only used them once for rifles.
I don't think they replace a regular cleaning regimen, but for a quick run-thru during a competition or something, they are cool. |

I recently purchsed one for the Scout. It's great for a quick field cleaning at the end of a hunting or range session. This brings up a whole new topic, which I will post under different title. Rich |
