Sent for a C&R license

Just sent for my C&R license paperwork last week. Does anyone know how long it takes to receive the packet? How long to receive the license after sending in the paperwork? Any must haves of the C&R world?
Thanks
Rick

For me -

Packet - 1-2 business weeks
Certificate - 6-7 business weeks
The books and manuals showed up about two weeks later

Must haves - anything with a C&R certification.

Depends on your budget and taste. I like the Mosin Nagants, K31's, German Mausers, and Austro-Hungarian M95's. I'd love an M1, but it's out of my price range for now.

Quick hide your checkbook and cut up the credit cards!

Seriously, I had my packet in a week and my C&R a month after I mailed the papers.

Toys to get now because prices are going up. Mosin-Nagant - at least one M38 and one M44. I have two of each, one in a hardwood stock and one in laminated ~$100 hand picked. Finnish M39, prices are going up $260-350. You'll want a K98, and probably an SKS. German WWII production P38 pistols have been a relative bargain lately.

I've used SOG, Classic Arms, and Century Arms. Most of them will not let you see prices until they get a copy for your C&R.

Oh and remember you do not sign the original, make copies and sign those. Also you'll need to pick up a bound records book.
