Another Model 94 year question

I purchased it from fellow employee so very little information on the rifle. It is a Ranger 20" barrel model serial number 5634813. I am guessing it is a pre 2002 as it has no tang or cross bolt safety and does have a screw in the bottom front of the receiver in front of the lever. Base on the serial number chart discussed above it would be post 64 also. Not looking for value as it will be a Scout shooter for me but I need to download an owner’s manual. And I need to know what year so I can order parts if needed.
Thanks for you help and although new to the site I already enjoy it.

You have a Model 94AE (angle eject) Ranger, made sometime between the 94AE introduction in 1982 (at about SN 5,3xx,xxx) and when the CBS was introduced into the 94AE in 1992 (at about SN 6,xxx,xxx).

I'd WAG your Ranger's DOM as most likely some time in 1988, +/-.

The Ranger line was an "economy" version of regular/standard Winchester's, and appeared as shotguns and rifles.

Other than calling Winchester the above post is about as close as you'll likely get. There are some online sources for older Winchesters, but none I've found for more modern guns.

Thanks that will give me what I need

I can download a manuel from Winchester and go to work! Plan to make this into a Timber Scout with Ghost ring sights and long relief forward mounted scope. Actually got the idea off the Winchester site. Thanks guys!
