ballistic turrets

i have a weatherby 30-378 with a swarovski z6 scope with an added ballistic turret with ranges up to 1050 yards. the problem in having is when i sighted it in it was 8 inches low at 100 yards so i adjusted the turret to raise it 8 in. now i can only adjust it to 700 yards then its max'd out because i had to turn it so far to raise it the 8 in, am i doing something wrong? thanks for your help

Isn't there a set screw that you can loosen to rezero the turrets? If not, it would be the first I'd seen without it.

Assuming the scope is set up correctly, a MOA base (10-20 depending on what you need) would help.
