Any truth to this rumor about tennessee taxing gunowners?
My exterminator told me this morning that Tennessee is going to require a person to list all of his guns on the income tax form so he can be taxed for owning guns.
This has got to be viral but I wanted to know if anyone can confirm or deny this rumor. I did a google search and couldnt find anything. |

No. It is nothing more than a simple variation of something that has been circulating about the Feds/IRS for years.
It's bogus.

AFAIK, Tennessee doesn't even have an income tax.

You beat me to it, Bob.
A few seconds ago I had one of those "Wait one damned minute" moments... So, since this is, as of now, truly a case of your exterminator sniffing what's in his tanks... Closed.
