Shooting E.M.F.'s SASS 1873 Short Rifle

I’ve got an E.M.F. Company “SASS” 1873 Short Rifle here for test & evaluation for a “Guns of the Old West” magazine article. I thought you might enjoy a peak at it. The base gun is an Uberti replica of the 1873 Winchester rifle, in the currently popular short rifle configuration. E.M.F. takes the base gun and offers it with a number of custom options. My test gun is the full money. It is a race-ready competition rifle with a custom action job and a short-stroke modification, both performed by Jim Lincoln of the Cowboys and Indians Store in Santa Ana, California.
