Building a Spiral Back Stop
Hey guys
My business just picked up more warehouse space and was lucky to find a explosion proof room with full exhaust ventilation inside the building I just rented . The room is the perfect indoor shooting range has 1 foot thick solid concrete walls and roof with 2 filtration ventilators ... the perfect indoor shooting range . I am not going to use the room for anything and I'm the boss ... I only plan on shooting .22 that cheap fun and don't have to waste time at the range . I would like to recycle the lead and see a few spiral back stop designs , I have some great empty steel cylinders , they are 1/2 high strength steel and should be more than adequate to catch .22 I have a full fabrication shop so should be no problem to modify a tapered cone to the 8ft high cylinders . Have any of you guys built your own spiral stop Thanks Greg |
