CZ 75 SP-01 Tactical - Suppressed - carbon fouling eventually stops slide
Anyone else shoot a similar setup? I have carbon dragging on the slide slowing things down after 60 rounds or so... The slide surfaces are essentially end to end. Blow-back causes it to slow down eventually not functioning.
Thanks Rich |

Don't shoot the CZ, but I have a FNX45T with a Revolution 45 can and as you comment I've noticed quite a bit of elevated carbon debris blowback. I was originally running a Vortex Venom dot and after about 20 shots fired the glass gets very dirty. Got to the point where I ended up removing the optic and just running stock sights. The slide internals also seem to get dirty much quicker vs shooting without the can. I do a good cleaning after each range trip when running the can. Can't say ive had any function issues with my FNX45, it's a flawless functioning handgun.

Suppressors aren't suited for every application, host, or user.
