Linear Muzzle brakes
Hey everyone. I am looking to hear from people who have used linear a compensator.
1) Do they have any effect on dampening recoil as some companies claim? 2) Do they reduce muzzle jump/climb as some companies claim? I know a linear comps main purpose is to direct the sound away from the shooter but I am also curious if they have any positive effects on muzzle climb and recoil.

The Lavang is pretty good at reducing noise to the shooter. |

Hey everyone. I am looking to hear from people who have used linear a compensator.
1) Do they have any effect on dampening recoil as some companies claim? No. In fact I think the recoil impulse is increased 2) Do they reduce muzzle jump/climb as some companies claim? Maybe a little but not really. I know a linear comps main purpose is to direct the sound away from the shooter but I am also curious if they have any positive effects on muzzle climb and recoil. They do a very good job at directing sound away though.
