Trying to find out if a springfield v-16 is a 45 super even tho it has 45acp on the slide. The one I had years ago had 45 super on the slide. The one I'm interested in now does not have super written anywhere on it.Are all v-16"s supers?

Is that what is stamped or is 45 Auto stamped on it??

Mine is not marked anywhere on it nor is it indicated in the user manual that it is a 45 Super.
What makes "MY" V-16 a Super is the 23 lbs. recoil spring and the -*starline*- brass marked 45 Super (or store bought 45 super ammo).
I was expecting it to be marked like the earlier ones with 45 ACP/45 SUPER but apparently that isn't done anymore.
