Winchester 1906 & Buckhorn Sights
I am looking to buy a Winchester 1906 and have come across one with "buckhorn" sights. They don't look the same as the sights I remember on the one my Dad had. Does anyone know if these were an option on 1906's, or are they "aftermarket"?
Also, on another 06 I'm looking at, the owner states that the barrel has been replaced. How much would that affect it's value? Serial numbers were printed on the tang and receiver only, yes? |
