300 Blackout or 9mm Subgun - Suppressed SBR - Page 2

I think you would get mere practicality/usefulness and enjoyment out of a 300 blackout SBR. I shot one once, although not suppressed, and I really really really liked it. It was very comfortable and satisfying to shoot.

The only reason I might go for a 9mm instead is cost of ammo. 9mm carbines are a lot of fun to shoot though too so that could be considered another equal reason.

I like the idea that if I were to buy a suppressor for a 308 rifle, I could also use it for 300 blackout, and .223/556.

You'll be spending a lot more on ammo with the blackout though. But if people keep buying them, eventually the ammo may become more common and costs may come down?

Only thing I have to contribute is don't get tricked into buying special 9mm subsonic ammo. Just buy 147 grain and it is subsonic. some shops market downloaded 115-124 grain at a premium, always seemed silly to me when you can just buy factory 147.
