.357 Magnum plinking with my Python
Colt's .357 Magnum Python revolver has been called the finest revolver of the 20th century. I don't know if that's true, but it is an excellent revolver, and a real twentieth century classic.
In this video I'll put my Colt Python to work on various targets, shooting full-power .357 Magnum loads. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DUuFNEn4xY |

I've always liked the Python, especially the six inch blued version.
Another great video; thanks, Mike. |

Good shootin'
Thanks for the video. As much as these guns command, that's about as close as I'll get to one.

Nice video. I noticed that some rounds produce a fireball and some don't. Do you have any idea why this occurs?

Mike, I watched your video. I didn't need to to like the Python though.

I think you mis-spoke. You said you had 325 grain, .357 magnums....I think you meant to say 125 grain, no? I've never loaded anything heavier than 158 grains for my 357, although I know that there are loads that go up to 180 grains.
Pretty good shootin' I must say! |

This is a great video. It was the right amount of entertaining and awesome, with anything unnecessary edited out. It kills me in some other videos when the talking gets long or we have to watch the walk down to swap targets. More YouTube shooters should take a lesson from the gentleman here.

Add: I've noticed fireballs occurring in real time at indoor shooting ranges. Maybe 3 out of 6 rounds fired. I assumed that there might be a slight more amount of powder in the case, but I am unsure of this. Anyone care to comment?
