204 powder and loads

The old joints can't take much recoil any more, so thought I'd try the 204.
What do you have for powder and loads that have worked well for you??

I hear you loud and clear.

You won't be disapointed with the 204.

12 twist rifle

Reloader 10X
Midsouth extremes 34 grains 41.00 per 100
Rem 7 1/2 primer, Fed 205M
any brass

8208, Varget, Tac, N-140, W-748 all work well but not like R-10X

Good case fill and velocity should steer you in the right direction.

I use 28.0gr Benchmark under 32gr V-max. This is Hodgdon's max load. It shoots about 1/2 MOA. It also matches real world factory ammo at 4035 fps from a 24" barrel.

QuickLoad predicts that Win748 can reach the advertised claims of 4200 fps from factory velocity. I haven't tried it yet. My computer is broken so I can't give you the expected charges.
