Okay, this seems to work... But anything longer won't post. What's wrong?

I have no idea why long posts don't work for you. One possibility is that the TFL software has been acting up lately, but it doesn't seem to be affecting other members. Do you wait long enough for the post acknowledgement to be issued? In other words, do you ever hit the Stop button after posting?
Anyway, I'll move this to the Questions forum for additional responses... |

No, I do wait. All I get is a "document contains no data". Smaller posts go trough with the speed I expect when using ISDN. Weird.

I tried to cut the post into two parts. First part posted normally. Trying to post the second part got me an error message of you guys possibly running out of disk space?!? Now the whole thread is unaccessible.
Oh well. I'll try again during the weekend. I'm off to bed now. ------------------ Tony S. Why be normal? |

There's a chance this may have to do with yours truly forging the new software in the back room. I've got glitches in the database that cause the server load to approach meltdown levels at times.
Only way to find 'em is trial and error. Clearly, it affects this side of the farm also. Please bear with me....we're real close. Rich |
