Persuader barrel question

I'm getting a persuader and would like to know if i could interchange this barrel(drop in) or is it a no go?

If so do you think having the sights is worth the cost?

My 1911 is my home defense gun, this shotgun will just be for fun and zombie control

Heres the barrel

If you're getting the 20" barrel 8 shot, then you'd have to get a new (shorter) mag to swap in this barrel. If you're getting the 18.5" 6 shot then this should swap right in.

I think the maverick 88 8 shot barrel will drop into your 8 shot persuader.

well

It should drop in fine - but thats a pretty pricey bbl just for the sights. Standard persuaders are already drilled and tapped, plus the stock sight ain't bad. I would shoot it for a month or two before you decide to drop 1/2 the gun's price on a new bbl.
