Modifying a MarkII 512

Would it be possible to shorten the 5.5" bull bbl
to 4" and recrown and remount the sight?? Any idea
how costly it would be to do this. I love the 4" bull bbl with the MarkII grip angel but can only find it in blue. Would love to have it in stainless.

Yes, it is possible to shorten the barrel to four inches. A few months ago there was an article about a MK II that had this treatment in American Handgunner magazine.

SRT2, I just did this for a customer a week or so ago. It's relatively inexpensive. $52.50 plus shipping. George
