Nikon Monarch Red Dot
I've got a nice Marvel .22 conversion that I would like to use for Bulls eye. I've found a Nikon Monarch RDS for a decent price. Are these a good RDS? Nikon says parallax free at 50m. Have any of you used this sight on an AR .223? They are discontinued so don't want to drop the dough unless they are a good sight. I really couldn't find many reviews about them. Thanks so much.

No worries. I bought a Nikon rds. The price was right. Hope it's money well spent.

Re: Nikon Monarch Red Dot
I got my Nikon rds installed and went for the first test run. I had nice groups at 10 yds. I usually don't shoot past that with open sights. I got tighter groups using a support. I'm really liking the new to me, world of red dots.

Re: Nikon Monarch Red Dot
Update. I was able to use the Nikon rds outdoors. I shot decent groups at 30 and 50 yds. I couldn't see the smaller spinners to hit them. It was a good time.
