If you're bored and don't mind taking a picture of bullets...

I've been looking around the internet, doing Google searches, Bing searches, and I cannot find the picture I'm looking for.

I've been trying to find a picture of various .30/7.62mm cartridges. I don't need pistol cartridges. I was hoping someone in this forum can come up with a picture that has: 7.62x39, 30 caliber, .30-30, .308/7.62x51, .30-06, .300 WM, etc., etc. Maybe throw in a 5.56x45 for giggles.

I'm sure someone out there has them all. If you can do it you'll have my thanks.

Do you mean bullets or do you actually want pictures of loaded ammo? The bullets in a 308 and 30-06 are gonna look pretty darn similar.

Ok, after some extensive searching, I was able to come up with all but the 300 win mag. You will just have to use your imagination for that one. I threw in some other rounds you didn't mention so you could see them also, and I was on a roll so I figured... Why not? The .22lr are in the pics for size comparison. From left to right... 5.45X39 - 5.56X45 - .22-250 - .30 carbine - 7.63X39 - 30-30 - .308 Win - 30-40 Krag - .350 Remington magnum - 7.62X54R - 300 Savage - 30-06 - 9.3X74R.

Yes, but 5.45 and 9.3 aren't .30 cal sizes, lol

Catfish, I always admired people who had cartridge collections. That looks great!

Me, I always end up shooting the darn things up and don't save them. Oh, well!

Yea, I know, just wanted to throw some other calibers in there to show the difference. I hope you enjoy. I was going to put a bunch more in the pic, but I was running out of room.

The 30-30 and 30-40 need a longer neck.

Sorry, I was joking. The case against the 300 Win Mag was always that the neck length was less than the caliber diameter and the ability to hold a bullet was questioned. The 30-30 and 30-40 have a neck that is almost funny looking.
