Swapping cans?
Sorry If this topic has been covered before, but I just can't seem to find the answer by searching. If you want to just simply point me towards the thread where it was covered please do so.
The question is, does a screw on can have to be registered to a specific firearm? If I have one can and multiple guns with threaded barrels am I in risk? (I do not have a can yet, waiting for a CLEO that will sign as I prefer not to go the Trust/Incorporation route). Any other variations of the question that have been covered that I forgot to ask? Thanks again everyone. |

The suppressor is the controlled item. You can install it on any firearm you want.

Not to doubt you freakshow, I see you have company dealing with these types of transfers and are probably up to date on your laws. But has anyone actually talked to the BATFE and can cite sources to confirm?

You ask a question, it's answered by a NFA manufacturer, you question the validity of the answer. You have other issues to worry about before you step into the realm of NFA.

I apologize freakshow, I shouldn't have questioned your knowledge on the subject.
