Reloading UMC brass
Is the yellow box Remington UMC cases safe to reload, It looks like brass but says steel cases on box ( The green box UMC says brass)

All yellow box UMC/Rem that I have seen was brass. Try sticking a magnet to it.

When it says steel case it may be referring to the metal makeup of the bullet having a steel core. The shells oughta be brass. Admittedly, I haven't bought much ammo in the last many years... but I don't recall UMC (Remington's cheap brand) being anything but good solid and reloadable brass shells.

I have reloaded hundreds of it... it was the cheapest stuff around before i reloaded Oh and it is pretty good stuff too.
