Hammer replacement for S&W 6906

Just a quick question on the s&w 6906. The gun is a handy sized
pistol but I like a hammer I can thumb back. Will a 5906 hammer
fit in a 6906? Is fitting required or would it be a drop-in? Thanks

Coffee357, I think it will. The 6906 is simply a stainless version of the 5906 but you might want to check with S&W to make sure. George
