Where'd all the posts go?
I noticed TFL has been down for a couple days. Obviously it is back online now, but I have noticed that a bunch of threads are now missing? Will they ever be back or are they gone forever?

Hadn't noticed any missing. Examples? (obviously, you can't give links, but a general idea of the topic would help.)

The last post before TFL went down was on 12/31/07 at 12:33 AM EST
by Slopemeno. The first post made when we came back up was today at 9:25 PM EST by mmasteve. I don't know what time the server went down, so it is possible that anything posted between those times was lost. For much of that time, though, the forums were completely inaccessible so I doubt there was much loss of data. Hope this helps. P'raps tyme will be along to explain it soon. |

The last thread I was looking at before the server went down was one by FirstFreedom titled something about 2007 TFL Awards. Anyway, when I could finally log back on, that thread was gone. I think there may be others but my memory escapes me at the moment.

One thread is hardly "a bunch of threads", you had us worried. That one disappeared for cause and had nothing to do with the system problems.

Sorry, then. I assumed that it had something to do with the server down-time.
