IDPA 2001 Nationals, Who's going

It's just a little over a month away. I will be a CSO at this years Nats. Going to shoot ESP instead of CDP this year. SS class. Who else is going, what are you shooting, and what day or days?

IDPA Nationals.

My son and I will be there. He's SSP-SS and I'm SSP-MM. We shoot Friday afternoon and Saturday morning; squad 20.
It will be our second Nationals. He took first and I took third SSP-MM last year.
The wives are making the trip with us. Funny thing, they wouldn't let us leave them home last year either. Something about the casinos or something.

KP95DAO,
I sure hope you and your son have a sense of humor. Me, my wife and about 6 or 8 others fron Ohio/West Virginia are in your squad. We ALWAYS have fun shooting. My wife is SSP-EXP & I am SSR- MA. We look forward to meeting you.

I'll be there serving as a CSO - I'm gonna keep my eyes peeled for this Squad 20!

I may want to pick your brain, Bill. After 5 years of semi-auto only in IDPA, I went over to the dark side and started shooting SSR this Spring. I'll be shooting SSR-SS at the Nats with my S&W 610. It's been a hoot and I think it will improve my shooting overall. Takes a LOT of concentration to shoot the revos.

Don't be so modest Mikey, anybody that shoots a TRIPLE tap on a swinger and have all three shots nearly touching must be doing something right. "Bump in the Night"

Mikey,
We will be watching for you. I will be shooting a S&W Model 10 in .38 Special. Speedloaders and all. Revolvers are fun. It is especially fun to beat autoloaders with a revolver.

BillG,
Guess we may have to show a few people how to have fun shooting.

George,

That was the luckiest tripple tap I ever had! Couldn't do it again in a hundred tries. Just ask the guys in Arab, Alabama where I completely blew two stages today.

If anybody gets a chance to shoot with George and the NW Florida IDPA club take it. They are a great bunch.

Wish i could make it to nationals (both USPSA and IDPA) however colleges for some reason don't take kindly to missing 2-3 weeks of classes a year for me to shoot a match. bunch of democrats! who needs higher education anyway ;e

squad 20 will definitley have a good time.

KP95DAO,
We didn't scare you off did we? Squad 20 will not be that rowdy. You aren't calling IDPA HQ trying to get switched to another squad are you? We promise to be good. Or at least not too bad. After all, only 2 CSO's have said they will be watching for us. Looking forward to meeting you & your son at the Nationals. Meeting new people is part of the fun of big matches.

Bill,

I don't scare too easy. However, my aggravation threshold is rather low. I have been working on that for 25 years. Or has that been my wife that has been working on that for 25 years?

KP95DOA,
We won't aggravate you. We just have a good time. We are very serious about doing a good job shooting but are sometimes a little less than serious between stages. It will be a fun time. Are your wives coming to the range with you? My wife will be shooting with us. She will keep us from getting out of line.
