Has anyone fired or does anyone own a Taurus Spectrum?

I know I asked in the pocket pistol thread, but I didn't think anyone would mind me starting a thread on it.

I've inquired locally, only people I've spoken to who have one say the trigger is gritty and not as good as the trigger on the (now discontinued) TCP. They seem like nice pistols and I like the color options. Taurus customer service told me recently that they have 2 years worth of orders for them already.
Why was I calling customer service? Because it's been 13 weeks since they received my daughters brand new TCP for repair and they STILL haven't fixed it.
It'll be a LOOOOONG time before anyone in my family ever buys another Taurus. IF you're considering a new Spectrum, I'd recommend waiting a while 'til they debug the first version or two.

When dealing with getting a gun fixed via return, it speeds the process
to put a NOTE detailing the issues in the box when you send it back,
as CSR's are notorious for not typing everything you tell them into the
"Comments/Repairs needed" sections.
They'll put it in as few words as possible, because they're trained horribly.
Gun Folks know to be as Detailed as possible...too bad more aren't CSR's.

With a note in the box, the repair guy can get right on it, and PROPERLY
fix any issues without having to figure out what the CSR meant in his notes.

Notes from CSR's that simply said "Doesn't work" or "Malfunctions",
it's like "C'mon! Throw me a Freekin Bone here!"
Hard to fix stuff if ya don't know what's jacked

As far as my daughters TCP goes, there is a detailed report with the gun, well documented failures. Taurus is just buried in guns that don't work and it's taking them 13+ weeks to even get to it.
