I was never opposed to shooting in the rain as long as the rain falls straight down. Rain tends to come in sideways here, and usually wind driven at ruther high velocities.

We shoot from covered positions. I have a blue printed ported and polished umbrella Does very well at 25yards. My only concern is being hit by lightening changing targets.
