gatling
I'm a newbie here, and I've always wanted a gatling gun. I've seen several ads for plans to manufacture your own scale model gun chambered in .22LR, but my problem is that they all have barrels less than 16 inches long with overall lengths of less than 26 inches. Doesn't either of these make the gun an NFA firearm?

Not necessarily. It is possible that they could be considered pistols (well, legally anyways).

I think the best bet could be to find one already made to avoid any problems.
Calling them pistols would make sense as they don't have stocks and are really short. But I think that would mean that you have to register the reciver as a pistol before doing anything. |
