Was at local shop, they have a "wells Fargo marked

L.C. Smith SXS with Damascus barrels and hammers.

BUT there is no top lever for loading and unloading the chambers.

Also, it had a new cross-bolt to hold the wrist together as it cracked and broke.

SOhow does it break open??

They have a "No Way I Won't Pay"!

Don't know... don't care....I wouldn't even entertain the conversation.

Why don't you ask the LGS that owns it, instead of some random dudes on the interwebs, that have never seen said shotgun?

Could be broken.
Could be an under-lever.
Could be nearly anything...

If it's an OLD Baker, "made by L C Smith", pushing the front
trigger forward may unlock it. Other popular methods were
underlever and sidelever--but I don't know enough about old
L C Smiths to know if they are even an option.

I do know that there are far more GENUINE Wells Fargo!!
marked shotguns out there than were ever produced.

Along with London 1851 Colts, Walker Colts and a few others,
the counterfeits way outnumber the real McCoy. Caveat Emptor.

Buy the gun, not the story. What would you pay if it didn't say Wells Fargo? Pay that, or pass.
