How Small Arms Work

I ran across another video titled "How Small Arms Work", form Uncle Sam during WWII, and thought some might like the training video on how everything from bolt actions to full autos work internally. Plus, I would love to have the large model they use.

How Small Arms Work YouTube video.

Interesting video, and historical.

There are several good ones on YouTube, but they revolve around the military weapons if they're from the Army, etc. However, the same basics apply to our own guns, both bolt action and semi-auto. One good one, is the training video on the M-1 carbine.

I've seen that video before and think it's a great demonstration of how guns work. Anyone wanting to know what goes on inside a gun should watch this first.

edit: I really want that big gun and yes I'm watching it again.

Nice video.
Sometimes I find the study of the mechanics of different operating system more enjoyable than actually shooting them.
There is another YouTube channel called "Forgotten Weapons" that are excellent in showing the internals and functioning of different and odd firearms.
