Mosin Nagant Pistol Grip
Ok, before I get any comments! Nameless, not rare, you may not like it but I do. That being said, my original plan was to purchase a Boyd's thumbhole stock ($100+) and go in that direction. I happened to be looking around Ebay and found this nugget for $26 +S/H. I figured I was already going to trash or GB the original stock, so I figured I'd give it a shot and see if it was a POS or something worthwhile. Turns out, it works, and I'll be damned if it doesn't make the mosin easier, more comfortable and fun to shoot! Check it out.

Interesting idea.
Might have violated 922(r) but cool regardless. |

Bolt action C&R aren't subject to 922r.

Don't you have to buy it with a C&R license for it to be exempt?

It's kind of amusing to consider the gun control terminology in this case. It's actually got at least an evil pistol grip and a barrel shroud now! What other "unsuitable for sporting" features can we ascribe to it?

dear god have we gotten so scared of 922R that we just naturally assume all foreign made rifles are subject to it? 922R only applies to semi automatic rifles. you can have every scarey feature available including a collapsing stock, pistolgrip, flash hider, bayonet lug and greater than 10 shot capacity but if it's a bolt action 922R doesn't count for anything.

Show me the Title 27 Part you're referring to.... C&R firearms that are modified in excess of what is allowed may no longer qualify for C&R status if/after they are modified. There is nothing "illegal" about it.... They just need to transferred as a non-C&R weapon.
