Sig MPX 16” Barrel

All, for some reason, I’m not finding a lot on the MPX in 16” barrel on this forum. I’m considering one as a cheaper rifle to shoot and as another home defense option.

I have shot the pistol version quite a bit and found them to be fun and accurate. I must have been in a cave for a while, because I had no idea there was a 16” barrel version and have no experience with them.

What’s your thoughts on them?

By the sheer volume of replies, I’m guessing the 16” MPX is not a favorite?!

I'm not too sure how popular the MPX line is... I have never seen one in the flesh in my area.

My 16" 9mm carbines were both assembled with AR-V receiver sets from PSA. Fun guns, but they don't get out as much as some of my other guns these days.

Thanks for chiming in. I’m now thinking for the money, I may be able to get something different. The research continues.
