Anyone have any experience with this powder. I can't find any info and I can't access Winchesters Reloading page. I'm using 230gr Ball ammo.

I've got a copy of a Winchester Components Catalog, which includes some reloading data. Here's what is listed for 230 gr FMJ and WST, which I assume is the same as Winchester Super Target.

4.1 gr, 710 fps 15,500 psi.
4.9 gr, 800 fps 19,900 psi.

4.9 gr is listed as the max charge. Primer, case, and weapon are not listed for this data.

Thanks anyone have any experience with this powder? I switched to this because Unique wasn't dropping too well in my powder drop and the whole process was taking too long.

Switched to WST from 231 because it burned cleaner, and was less temperature and altitude sensitive.

Here ya go, .45 ACP Major Power Factor loads:

For 200gr hard cast SWC (H&G #68) - 5.1gr WST

For 230gr FMJ (hardball) - 4.9gr WST

These were worked up in a 5" 1911 with Kart ramped NM barrel.

Looking in the Adobe Acrobat version of the latest Winchester load book, you'll see they're right at the top end of their load data.

If you still can't get into Winchester's website, let me know, and I'll forward you the WinLoad Acrobat file.
