I'm preparing to start loading for 454casull, anything special I should know?

This will be my introduction into the reloading realm.
Are there any special concerns that apply to this round?
45lc dies will work for this correct?
Are the sizing dies the same?
I have the Lyman manual(49th edition) so that is my bible. Just looking for user input.

Many 45 colt sizing dies will work for 454, and most, if not all 454 dies will work for 45 colt. I've heard that at one time several 45 colt Hornady die users were complaining of inadequate neck tension, and Hornady sent them 454 sizer dies, which solved their problems. I bought the 454 set since it was 4 dies (including taper crimp) at the same price as the 45 colt three die set. The seating and expanding dies are the same part number between the sets.
