My reloading book doesn't go above 62gr can anyone give me any suggestions on powder charges? I'm using Reloader 7,IMR 4064, IMR 3031. I you have any suggestions i'm all ears. I own a mini-14

Before you get too involved in that heavy bullet, check the twist of your rifling. It takes a faster twist to stabilize the longer bullet so that you get decent accuracy.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the 1 in 9 is the faster twist, which will stabilize the heavier bullets.
