Mossberg 144 Bolt

I need a Mossberg 144 Bolt. The rifle has 144 marked on it. Not 144LS or anything other than 144. Can anyone help? I have talk to almost everyone except Havlin. They are out of the office at the SHOT show.

Thanks for any help!

Greg

Mossberg 144

If you can find a bolt for a Model 142, it will work - they are interchangeable. A few years ago I found a 144 bolt for a 142 customer at gunsnparts.com. All Havlin could do was put me on waiting list. That's the best I can do. Hope it helps.

Found some help

I found a model 44 bolt. I gunsmith/machinest used a model 144 firing pin and machined a new handle. I'm not suer what else he did but it worked. He charged me $96.00, I thought that was pretty good.
