Difference in magazine tube springs
Will one for an 870 work in a mossberg 500?

Why not just buy the right spring?

Can always measure then and see how close they are- I would suspect if the mag tube is the same length (or real close) things should be fine for even longer than 25 rounds. I wouldl personally clean the inside of the mag tube. Every semi and pump I have seems to attract a lot of rust in there over time.
