Help with info on a Westernfield .410

I just picked up a Westernfield XNH 480 D .410 pump shotgun and I cannot find any info on it. It works perfect and looks good. Can anyone tell me ANYTHING about this little gun? Thanks for any help.

The Western Field 40D as sold by Monkey Ward is listed as being manufactured by Mossberg and is a Mossberg 44.

Thanks, I thought it must have been made by mossberg because of the top slide type safety. Thanks again.

Pictures would help. If the receiver has a side plate is held on by screws it's a Noble 70, which does have a top safety similar to a Mossberg.

I'm sure you know, but I'll mention it anyway. There are no serial numbers only patent numbers. Any way to find year of manufacture?

I don't know how to find DOB on a Noble even if it did have a serial number. Sorry.

Apparently, Noble was in business from 1946-1971. That's about as close as you're going to get.
