Range Book

Hey everyone! Not sure if this is the right area or not (still new) but I figured this was the most appropriate area.

Just something I thought I'd share this with everyone, it's a little range book template for those that like to practice marksmanship. Just print out any of the pages that you need, and place them in a small three-ring binder from Wal-mart and there ya go!

I can't take credit for the pages though, I found them somewhere online (can't remember where) and just put them in a spreadsheet and shared through google drive.

If anyone wants anything added to it just let me know

Edit:

Yes I know it's not the best, and there are great booklets available for purchase online but this one is free (kinda). I would recommend buying a real one, but if you just want to practice feel free to use this.

Might add a note to your angle fire page.

As you show, the actual distance is line of sight distance times the cosine of the angle is the actual distance to the target.

BUT.

You still have to account for the wind the full line of sight distance.

An example:

Line of sight distance being 600 yards, at 30 degrees. You cosine would be .87 giving you the distance of 522 yards. Meaning your elevation is set for 522 instead of 600.

But the wind effects the bullet for the full 600 yards.

Good job.

Just Saying.
