Other than Glock, are there any partially cocked striker handguns?

Talking striker and not hammer. What other guns work on a similar principle to Glock's, where the striker is not fully cocked and pulling the trigger cocks it then releases it?

Thanks.

The M&P pistols are fully cocked on closing. They use a tilting sear to release the striker.

The new 380EZ is hammer fired

XDS

(Unlike the XD and XDM. The XDS is much more Glock-like.)

S&W's Sigma and SD series are partially tensioned strikers.

BTW, the Springfield XD series is fully tensioned.

Believe the Walther PPS M2 (prior generation, I don't know). It has a cocking indicator on the back, that retracts out the back before the trigger breaks and releases the striker.

Honestly the PPS is basically a Glock 43 clone with better ergonomics

The XD is the only striker design that is fully cocked that I'm aware of. Most, of the others use a design similar to Glock.

I took the slides off of my SD9VE and my son-in-law's Glock 19 and put the guns side by side. They were so similar that you almost needed to read the name on the side of the slide to tell them apart.

IIRC smith got in some trouble copying glock too closely on the sigma/sdve line and had to make some slight changes to make it less alike in design.

PPQ is a single action fully cocked striker.

This is accurate. Glock sued S&W. S&W changed the design slightly and paid Glock off to settle out of court.

Most have hit the highlights. I dare say most striker pistols are DAO, but with pre-tensioned strikers.

Pretty sure the M&P is a SAO. It certainly doesn't feel like a double action and it can't be because when dry fire training, I have to rack the slide to be able to trip the trigger.

As Shark said, definitely SAO.

In addition to some already listed

Walther P99QA

S&W SW990L

Roth–Steyr M1907

Roth-Sauer

Mauser M2 ?

I think some Taurus models

There are a few hammer fired guns as well. The Beretta PX4 type C and S&W third generation xx4x are examples.

Except for the fact that the PPS was introduced many years before the Glock 43.

And the PPS is partially cocked (like the Glock), while the PPQ is a fully cocked striker.

Please show me how the M&P and the XDS are not fully cocked like we say the XD is…

Those guns all have sears that rotate on a pin. The Glock slides to the rear cocking the striker.

The XDS works just like a Glock. If you have one, take the slide off and work the trigger, and observe how it works. Trigger bar pulls sear backwards, which pulls stiker backwards, until the trigger bar gets pulled down by the an angled surface. Just like how the Glock works.
