2014 IDPA indoor nationals videos
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TroKVQAd7rs
Here's a ten minute video of the complete match, all 13 courses of fire. Each stage is shown from two perspectives, one from the spectator view and then from the shooter view. The props alone are really impressive. If you watch the video, thank the folks who provided it.

On the first stage in the video, were you told that the "duck blind", or whatever the shooting area represented, was specifically "not cover"?
If we had run that stage at our club, we would have required everyone to kneel and use the available cover (or concealment); how did they handle defining structures that were cover vs. structures that weren't? Or, did they just stay, "stand", and not address it at all? Great job of not "advancing" on your reloads; I still don't think I have the knack of standing still when there's nothing but wall between me and the next cover position. |

For a stage by stage description, Randi Rogers, the winner of the Ladies division, explains it.
http://www.gungirlradio.com/ The closest that I got to the match was the video and the podcast.

I didn't shoot it this year, but have the 2 years previous. It's typically a tough match, as it ought to be. Tough to get into as well . Congrats to all who were there!

Looks super fun, I wish we had an Indoor range in OR that did this sort of thing.
