Try missouri bullet company. I just placed an order based upon price and the great reviews I have seen on this forum.

It all depends on what type of bullets you are looking for. I am shooting 148gr HBWC from remington. Midway has them for $108 per 2000!! These wadcutters shoot great out of all my .357/.38 guns.

If you are looking for a jacketed bullet, I use Montana Gold. the 125gr jhp is $300 a box of 3750!!

This is the best deal that I have found, and I looked everywhere.

I shoot copper plated 158 gr RNFP from X-Treme bullets. $105 for 1000 with shipping included.

As a follow up question, where do you get .357 brass? I use Starline or would settle for Remington, but no one seems to have any in stock.

Do any of these companies ship internationally. I want to buy bulk bullets but the prices here in Australia are pretty poor. So I've been thinking of shipping builk packs of bullets from midway or something like that.

+1 to Rocky Mountain Reloading. $69 for 500 158 gr. JHPs, including shipping. Quality bullets, and they were at my house two days later.

NOTE - not every bullet is available all the time at RMR (i.e. no 158 gr. JHPs at the moment). They may be a pretty small operation, just the kind I like to support.

Had to chuckle - Missouri Bullet sells lead bullets for .357 magnum (magnum velocities)... and also says on the same page that "you may be interested in... the Lewis Lead Remover Kit"

I'm not dissing Missouri Bullet - their prices are very good and I'm sure their bullets are too. Just not sure I'd want to shoot hot .357 unjacketed lead and worry about the cleanup afterward.

Missouri Bullet 357 does not lead my Blackhawk or GP 100. I bought the Lewis lead remover from Brad at Missouri Bullet for 357 and 44 but have never had any leading to use them on.

Try Missouri bullets. I'm getting sub 1.5" groups at 25 yards from a rest and leading is not an issue. Price and service are both excellent. My .357's seem to like the MB better than a number of jacketed I've used.

Prices are right - 158 gr 18 Brinnell hardness for magnum velocities are $56/1000. They usually ship on the same day as the order. I've gotten bullets 2 days after ordering.

Good bullets, great prices, ultra fast shipping. What's not to like?

Another +1 on Missouri Bullet Co.

Last year I ordered 500 of a certain type bullet and was puzzled when another box of 500 came in a 2 days after the first. It had a note in it apologizing that the bullets I received originally were sized off about .001" and that these new ones (free) were properly sized - please keep both. It's that kind of customer service that sets Brad and his folks apart.

Try Penn bullets. You can push them to Mag volocity with very little leading.
He also sells them with Standard Sizing - .358 Optional - .357, .359, .360.
His .38 Caliber 158 Grain Semi-Wadcutter Bevel Base I have loaded for a Lever action 357 and they worked very well.
His 158 sells for $62 per 1000 and that includes shipping.

I bought a couple of boxes of LSWC bullets from Missouri Bullet Co. for my .38 special and have been having problems with the finished cartridges not seating properly in the cylinder, causing the cylinder to jam when closing in the frame.

I made careful measurements of the "rejected" loads and found that the cases have a diameter of .378 to .379 near the mouths with the bullets seated. The bullets are sized .358, and I think that I need to re-size these bullets because the cylinders measure .378, and I believe that the bullets are expanding the cases to the point that they jam in the cylinders.

Has anyone else experienced this? Should the seating die be taking care of this? Or do I need to buy a re-sizing kit for these bullets?

I've reloaded over 1,000 LSWCs branded Suter's Choice and sized .357, with zero problems.

Shortly after I sent my previous post, I sent a similar inquiry to Missouri Bullet Company. The last thing I expected was a reply after hours on Good Friday, but Brad responded almost immediately and was gracious, helpful and concerned. It's the best service I've ever received from any company I've ever dealt with, and they've got my vote.

I bought a bullet-puller today so that I could research this further. After pulling a couple of bullets from the rounds in question, the bullets measured a perfect .358, and I still haven't found the actual root of the issue but it's certainly not the bullets.

If you only shoot paper Missouri Bullet is a good bullet at a great price. If you hunt or care about home defense or a back-up gun out in the field then go to Beartooth Bullets or Oregon Trail Laser Cast. Missouri Bullet has yet to discover the meplat.

Mr. Mortimer, I do not believe that there is an open complaint about our bullets. The OP has acknowledged as much, as you can plainly see, just a few posts previous to this one.

And no, we don't cater to the wide meplat crowd. We use Magma Engineering equipment and their moulds, exclusively. Evidently a lot of people are happy with our selection as, between January 1 of this year and yesterday (Saturday), we have shipped 3,738,500 bullets to our non-wide-meplat-loving customers.

Mr. Missouri Bullet - I deleted the reference to the above "complaint" as I did not realize it was "resolved" - right there in the follow-up post. Since you are now posting here on the Firing Line you can see that every time I have ever mentioned your products I have stated something to the effect that you make "good bullets and great prices." I might add that you have nailed customer service as well as pricing. A good business model for sure. I hope to see some LBT bullets from Missouri Bullets or at least make your 148 grain DEWC in a hard cast version.
