Maglite's Solitaire
I found my Maglite Solitaire rolling around in the back of a junk drawer. Do to this flashlight's dismal light emitting capability and poor beam quality it never saw much use, it was useful as a candle by removing the lens cap.
I noticed there is a LED upgrade for this little light that would boost the lumen output from 2 to 15 lumens http://compare.ebay.com/like/3307401...Types&var=sbar Has anyone tried this upgrade ? |

I would recommend the Inova X1. 55 lumens on high 6 lumens on low. Only a little larger than the solitare. Uses a single AA battery.
About $20 http://www.inovalight.com/x/techspecs_x1.php |

I've had a Fenix E-1 on my keychain for a couple years now. The LED isn't as bright as some of the higher end lights, but compared to the Solitaire it is many times better. It's AAA battery makes it the same size.
