Aimpoint Clones

I found This on eBay. The price seems good. Any opinions?

The specs are identical to Aimpoint CompML2's.

It looks like a Tacpoint but I am not sure. I have a Tacpoint and for the money it has held up very well.

As far as tac point goes, on low recoiling rifle like an AR or a Mini 14/30 you'll be ok but don't put it on a shotgun. It will loose its zero and won't last long. I have it and a real Aimpoint M3. If you have the money buy the Aimpoint or the Eotech Holo sight. They are built to take an extreme amount of wear and tear and are definitely worth the 299-399 they go for.

I've got Tacpoints on my M1A and FALs as well as my daughter's .22 AR and they have done very well, but I don't consider them to be as rugged as the Aim Point nor as relaible (no problems, I'm just skeptical).

While the picutered item looks like the Aim Point it does not look like the Tacpoint because it lacks the name and blue ring setting it apart.

There's no telling what this really is. It could be as good or worse, but without their telling who the manufacturer is we can't tell.

I have a tac point on my m1a and my 12 gauge and have never had a problem with it. It's held up for many, many rounds.
