I currently use a single stage Lee Challenger press. I have the press bolted to a double thickness of plywood and "C" clamp it to the 2x6 top of my workbench when I want to reload. I was wondering if the progressive presses can be set up the same way. I really don't want the press to be permanently attached to my workbench. Any Ideas before I place an order for a progressive? Thanks!

I have my Pro1000 mounted on a piece of 1/2" thick aluminum and usualy have it screwed to my work bench but have no problem moving it to my portable B&D bench or whatever as long as I can secure the aluminum base. A 2x8 would work also.
