Lotta guns at Scheels!

The other day I posted about the dearth of handguns at the St. Paul's Cabela's. Was at the Scheels in Springfield IL yesterday and they are full up. Just an FYI.

But NO Primers and NO 22LR.

Life is good.

Scheels is my go to. They just have better inventory than the competition right now. I’ve spent a lot of money at Scheels in the last 2 months and will be spending more. Great customer service too. There’s always someone there that will ask if you need help. Not the case at other gun stores I’ve been to

I like Scheels too . . . wish they were closer!!!

My Scheels experience has been good as well. In fact, I was looking for a Springfield XDE when they first came out. I called Scheels, they had one and agreed to hold it for me . . . without a deposit. Good deal.

Life is good.

Scheels also hasn’t been raising prices on guns and ammo. Before I bought my S&W m&p sport II the prices on gunbroker.com were in the $850 range + shipping and FFL fees. Scheels had it on sale for $700 + tax and they had quite a few in stock.

In a MN Scheels yesterday and plenty of guns, a fair amount of ammo in lesser calibers, most powders and LPP were in stock. All at pre-panic prices.

Picked up a CZ P-07 at the Great Falls MT Scheels the other day, paid $479 which was the going rate before the panic started. Ammo was a bit high at $15-$16 a box for 9mm FMJ, but at least they had some.

According to person who waited on me, the ammo pricing depends on the price they get from their suppliers. So some stuff is normal price, some is a bit high. I didn't see anything priced insanely high, but I suppose that could change as we get closer to the election.
